Emma qualified as a dentist at Sheffield University dental school in 2009. Since graduating, Emma completed dental vocational training in a local Plymouth practice and has had a varied career, including 4 years in the Derriford Hospital maxillofacial team providing oral surgery and oral medicine procedures.

Emma has also worked at the Plymouth Community Dental Service for 4 years as a children’s and Special Care dentist, providing treatment to complex adults and children using a variety of CBT based techniques and general anaesthetics.

Outside of dentistry, Emma is renovating a house in Plymouth and her hobbies include listening to music, walking, paddle boarding, kayaking and arts and crafts.
