Parents/guardians are responsible for booking appointments for their children who are 18ys or younger. Over 18s must take responsibility for booking and remembering their own appointments, unless there is a medical reason for a parent/carer to book on their behalf. This is for data protection and safeguarding purposes.

Your dentist will determine how often you need to see them based on your oral health and best practice guidelines. We recommend most adults, have a check-up once per year. Some patients with healthy mouths only need to visit dentist every 2 years.

No, to manage our diary and patient expectations, we are currently not accepting any new patients and do not hold a waiting list. We review the situation on a regular basis and will update our website when we have capacity to take on more patients.

If we do not see a patient for a routine check-up in over 2 years we will remove them from our patient list. This is to ensure our dentists have manageable lists of active patients to care for. We cannot guarantee reinstatement to our patient list.

If children are not brought to their appointments this is counted as a safeguarding issue. We will contact the parent/guardian to rebook the missed appointment and if this is unsuccessful, the child’s dentist will decide if we need to raise any concerns with other health professionals or the local safe guarding team.

Our dental plans cover the cost of a routine check-up and a specific number of appointments with our hygienist every 12months. If these appointments are booked and then missed, or cancelled on the same day, they may be forfeited for that 12 month period. Patients can pay privately for replacement appointments or wait until the next 12 month plan cycle starts.
